www.qrz.com/site.html The big one. If your call isn't in the qrz database, it should be. Register on their forum page and then post a request to be added to the database in the 'DX Helpers' section. You can then modify your entry when you are added. Every amateur radio operator should be in this database.

Maidenhead Locator Map Superb locator map based on Google mapping. Scroll around, zoom in and click the location and you'll see the locator for that square. Handy for finding out the locator of a station worked who hasn't got their locator stated anywhere but you know their town/village.
About M6BBC    M6BBC Shack    M6BBC Latest
Just rediscovered radio after many years away and enjoying every minute of it. Typically we're at the very bottom of the solar cycle and with solar flux levels hitting 65, the only direction is up!
The 'BBC' suffix? I simply chose it because it comes off the tongue very easily and, maybe more importantly, it gives a slight edge on HF when things are a bit tough. So, yes a bit cynical and no, I'm nothing to do with the British Broadcasting Corporation.

The 'M6' prefix is the  latest prefix for the Foundation License, but I will be taking the Intermediate in October 2008 and will be looking to take the full license exam within 12 months. I will probably keep the M6BBC callsign for 2m though, 10w is enough for that for the most part.

I can be heard on 2fm simplex and ssb if there's anything happening there, but not 2m repeaters as my old Kenwood TS-711E doesn't have CTCSS ... I don't lose much sleep over the latter.

On HF, I'm active from 20m up to 10m, and just about active on 6m but with an inefficient antenna.

Always keen on real paper qsl, but I do have an eqsl account and will confirm anything sent on there.

QSL Info: I do like to receive QSL cards!!
Direct is always best, via QRZ. No need to send $$ but a SSAE is appreciated.
If I send you a card first, I will include $$ but please return the $$ if you can afford the postage, I can use the $$ again for someone else.

EQSL: I do have an account and will confirm anything sent  but EQSL is absolutely no substitute for the real thing. Print quality is useless from the tiny images on EQSL
